Rob began his career as a web developer and, for 20 years, used his programming knowledge to take a creative vision and build and maintain functional and secure websites for various clients, including local companies such as Euphoria Wellness Spa, Charlotte Pantry, 180 Hunter, Blue Sky Therapy, H&H Property Management, and Nu Bodies Fitness & Tanning World. 

His success in creating his own website led him to start his own web design company, designing the layout, user experience, and visual appearance for companies in a wide range of industries for 15 years.

He has also worked for various marketing companies where he advised on web marketing in areas including SEO and SEM to help businesses improve their online presence.

After returning to school and graduating Fleming College with an Advanced Diploma in Computer Security and Investigations, he worked as a cybersecurity consultant, helping companies protect their systems and networks from potential threats.

He is currently a Fleming College instructor, teaching courses in Pentesting, Coding, Malware Hunting, and Computer Forensics.

He is a skilled coder with a deep understanding of the technologies and languages used to create websites and mobile applications, including PHP, CSS, Python, Javascript, MySQL, Java, PowerShell, Perl.

Rob enjoys building mobile games and has been teaching piano since age 16! Additionally, Rob is an avid chess player and enjoys a good game whenever he gets the chance—Queen's Gambit, anyone?
